God relocated Don to Atlanta, Georgia in 1979 where he became the Choir Director for a local Baptist church. During his time in Atlanta, God revealed to him his wife, a beautiful young lady, Deborah Ann McClendon. In 1988 God gave Don a vision to pastor a church in Jacksonville, Florida and to call it Believers In Christ Christian Center. After receiving this vision, God directed Don and his wife to World Changers Ministries to receive impartation from Pastors Creflo and Taffi Dollar. God wanted Don’s ministry to be an extension of World Changers Ministries. In 1994, God told Don that this was the appointed time to start B.I.C.C.C., so in obedience to God and with the blessings and covering of his Pastor (Creflo A. Dollar), Don and Deborah Bernard moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he became Pastor Don Bernard.
The ministry had its first service in 1995 on the north side of Jacksonville with 10 members. Pastor Bernard has been preaching for 19 years and pastoring at Believers in Christ Christian Center for 7 years.
On January 25, 2004, Pastor Don E. Bernard was consecrated and installed into the holy office of Bishop by a special Ad-Hoc council of Bishops.
Bishop Don E. Bernard operates in the five fold ministering gifts and is called to minister the Word of God with understanding enabling the believer to achieve a life of abundance, spirit, soul and body through the anointed Word of God. Bishop Bernard is also a renowned psalmist who ministers under the power of the Holy Spirit, which causes burdens to be removed, and yokes to be destroyed.
Bishop Bernard holds close to his heart, Luke 24:45, “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures”. Bishop Bernard believes that if he can open your understanding to God’s Word then you can walk in prosperity in every area of your life.
